La Ginabelle 2 apartments benefit from their location and also nearby facilities. Built in local Savoyard stone and wood, this complex has a free bus stop just outside for quick and easy access to the ski areas as well as being just a short walk to the abundance of eating and drinking venues in the centre of Chamonix. Only 5 minutes walk to the Savoy lift, La Ginabelle 2 also offers the most fabulous views of Mont Blanc. Ginabelle2A is a luxurious Chamonix apartment in a recently built MGM development in the centre of Chamonix. Only minutes by foot to the railway station and all the best shops, restaurants and bars in Chamonix. It is also only a five-minute walk to the Maison de la Montagne - the main ski school – and within ten minutes walking of the Brevent and Les Planards ski lifts. Bus stops are nearby for all the ski slopes in the valley. Despite its central location just a one-minute walk from the centre of town, La Ginabelle 2 is set in its own grounds and therefore enjoys peaceful surroundings. It comprises of 32 apartments above a small square. On the ground floor of the building there is a good Savoyard restaurant, an excellent bakery and friendly ski-shop. Across the square there is a launderette and a friendly English speaking brasserie/ cafe. This apartment enjoys the benefit of an underground car park space and ski locker. It has a panoramic view towards the Swiss border and the ski slopes of La Flegere, Argentiere and Le Tour. Ginabelle2A is beautifully furnished in the Chamonix alpine style with quality wooden furniture and colour coordinated soft furnishings. The living area has large patio doors on to the balcony, which faces up the Chamonix valley. There is a two metre long upholstered banquette with scatter cushions and a thick-pile woollen rug. A top of the range radio/CD player (MP3 compatible) and a combined TV/Video plus a separate DVD player are provided for home entertainment – CNN and Eurosport are all available. There is a dining table with four chairs and, nest of tables and plenty of storage space for small items. In the entrance hall there is a large cupboard with shelves and clothes rail. The kitchen area has an eye-level oven, electric hob, dishwasher and fridge/freezer and ample cupboards. There is a shower room with basin and well-lit mirror and separate WC. Bedroom 1 has a king-size (5 foot) bed, wardrobe, mirror and clothes hooks. It is an attractive room with a wood-clad outer wall. Bedroom 2 has full-size bunk beds, a chest of drawers, mirror and wooden shelf with hooks. It is a great place in which to be based to enjoy all that Chamonix has to offer. Wireless internet is available to MyFrenchChalet clients at the Ginabelle reception next door (payment required). There are other apartments in the same building making larger groups possible.
