MontrocC lies just outside the picturesque alpine village of Argentiere in the Chamonix valley. Argentiere is situated towards the head of the valley and is surrounded by the dramatic and rugged peaks of the Mont Blanc massif. The traditional mountain feel of the Savoyard village offers a warm and cosy welcome with a great variety of local bars and restaurants to experience. There is a newer side too with all the modern amenities and services, supermarket and nightclub and the shuttle buses run into Chamonix every 15 minutes. The Grands Montets ski area in Argentiere provides some of the most challenging and varied skiing in the world both for intermediates and experts and Le Tour/Vallorcine is a huge area ideal for skiers and boarders trying it out for the first time. Montroc lies between these areas. In the summer, the range of mountain activities is virtually unlimited with walking, climbing and mountain biking to suit every appetite for adventure. Montroc makes an ideal base and a wonderful place to relax after the days exertions. The luxury apartment is in a stylish new development and built to very high quality traditional alpine design. The light and airy interior has warm feeling from natural wood panelling and tiled floors. An open plan living room and dining area has comfortable seating with large French windows leading to a south facing terrace with glorious views of the valley looking down to Mont Blanc and the other spectacular peaks of the Massif. The kitchen modern kitchen area is fully equipped with a fridge, full size built-in oven, halogen hob, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and plenty of cupboard storage. The master bedroom 1 has a double bed with an elegant bathroom en-suite bathroom. Generously sized Bedroom 2 has twin beds which can be converted to a double. Bedroom 3 is more compact and has a single bed with an additional pull-out to form a double or two singles as required. Each bedroom has bedside tables and plenty of storage. The main bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower, wash basin, fully tiled with halogen lighting, hair dryer and heated towel rail. There is also a separate WC. The spacious living room also has a convertible sofa which provides an additional double bed. The apartment will accommodate 5 in luxury and can be extended to 8 if all the sleeping facilities are used. There is a secure underground car park with space for one car (or two by arrangement) and ski locker. For other cars there is parking close by. The courtesy ski bus stop is just down the road and the Le Tour - Chamonix buses run every 15 minutes starting early in the morning until late each evening. The apartment also comes with a free wireless ADSL internet connection. There are other apartments in the same building making larger groups possible.
