This cosy Chamonix studio apartment is in one of the best parts and most
prestigious developments of Chamonix - Clos du Savoy right next to the Le Savoy
ski area. It was newly renovated in 2005. The
location is fabulous, right in the centre of town as well as being 100 meters
(front of residence Clos du Savoy) from the ski slopes - Le Savoy teleski -
where all the main ski schools start and young children can be put into day ski
crèches. Despite its central location just a one minute walk from the centre of
town, SavoyA in residence Clos du Savoy is set in its own grounds and therefore
enjoys peaceful surroundings. It is a small block but has all amenities around
it - ski hire, restaurants, supermarkets and boulangeries - all 1 minute walk.
The basement includes a secure ski locker which is large enough to fit 4
mountain bikes in summer and there is an undercover secure car
park space available for use. The apartment offers spectacular views up the
Chamonix valley towards the Swiss border and from outside the best views of Mont
Blanc. There is a Chamonix Ski bus-stop 20 metres away which services the main
ski areas in the Chamonix valley. Just 100 meters walk takes you to the Le Savoy
(literally the front of Clos du Savoy residence) - the main ski link of
Chamonix! The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave oven, four-ring halogen hob,
extractor fan, fridge-freezer and a washing machine plus plenty of cupboard storage full of
utensils. The lounge has a comfortable sofa bed and a toasty warm fluffy rug, plus seating for
4 around a wooden dining table. There is a Sony flat screen TV and Sony CD and DVD
player. The large window looks right out to the Brevent and
onto the Savoy lifts. Although a studio apartment, the coin de montagne is
separated from the lounge by a solid door and this area contains two full size
bunk beds plus plenty of storage space - ideal for kids to hideaway at night or
those wanting peace with achy legs! The large bathroom has a full size bath, shower, full size
basin, and plenty of cupboards, plus WC. We have other apartments 1 minute walk way available for rent.
This is absolute idea accommodation for a group or family of four, wanting to be
central with the ease of the slopes only being across the garden.
